INTRODUCING THE GBTEN CHAPTER SUMMER SPECIAL....EURO-96
          ___________________________________________________________

  This year, during the month of June, England are the host Country for the
  1996 European Football Championships. A list of the 16 Qualifying Countries
  is below.. The Championships are due to start on the 8th June with the
  final being due on the 30th.."Euro-96" is based on these Championships.
  All 16 Countries will start the tournament. After the first round 8 will be
  left. After the second round 4 will be left and after the semi-finals two
  will be left in the final to decide the Championship Winner.

  During the period from the 1st January to the 31st May, an additional 5 pts
  per upgrade, plus 5% of upgrade points will be deposited into a special pool
  which, at the end of the Championships, will be shared out on a % scale, as
  printed below, between all stations taking part..ie All upgrading Stations.

  Each station upgrading will be assigned a Country, drawn in rotation, and
  based upon an alphabetical listing of the 16 Countries taking part.
  On this GBTEN Special there is nothing for you to collect or propagate. All
  you need to do is keep watching your Sportsnews during June to see how your
  Country are progressing through the Championships. They are not collectable.

                   The share out of points will be as follows.....

      2«% of Total points  ö amongst those with the initial 16 Countries.
      7«% of Total points  ö amongst the 8 losers in the first round.
      10% of Total points  ö amongst the 4 losers in the second round.
      15% of Total points  ö amongst the 2 losers in the third round.
      25% of Total points  ö amongst the runner up in the final.
      40% of Total points  ö those with the winning Country.


       Points will be rounded to the nearest whole number in each case.
