An official announcement from Mildenhall base, broadcast over
local radio, has confirmed that in addition to the omission of the
Air Fete from the calendar, the proposed Family Open Day has,
due to 'Financial Constraints' also been abandoned.
In the present climate of militant insurgency, it is unlikely that any airfete will be staged in the near future.
